• Uses of “Ace” card

The Ace card in a deck of cards can be used both as a Face card or a Sequence card. For example, you can use the Ace card to make a sequence of “Ace, 2, 3” or “Queen, King, Ace”.

Things to remember while playing rummy

• Try forming your pure sequence first. As a pure sequence is of utmost necessity for winning, making your pure sequence as fast as possible.

• Discard any card you have with high points that will not help in your pure sequence. Ace, Jack, Queen, King for example. If you have any single in your deck, discard them.

• Avoiding the discarded pile is the safest option. The discarded pile has all the cards that other players rejected. So, it might not be safe to pick a card from there unless needed.

• The joker card plays a very important role in rummy. You can use the joker card in place of any other card. But try not to stack up on the joker card. People tend to stack up on joker cards in hopes of winning quickly, but that is not how rummy works.
